Who Put the Ketchup in the Medicine Cabinet?

He loses stuff. She stares into space. He takes hours to do simple chores. Homework never ends. One day she makes A's and the next fails the same subject. He's the personification of disorganization. But he's not hyperactive. And she really isn't a discipline problem. Still, last week you found the ketchup in the medicine cabinet.  Who Put the Ketchup in the Medicine Cabinet? provides a humorous yet informative look at life with  Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Inattentive Type. The website and its companion  monthly newsletter offer practical support and tips to help focus, organize and encourage these children who endear themselves to us with their creativity, humor, good nature, and spontaneity, yet infuriate us with their inability to stay organized and on task. We offer information, ideas, product recommendations, and an opportunity to meet other kids like yours. We hope this website will help you as you help your children learn to help themselves.

Kayla Fay is a freelance writer and the mother of four boys, three of whom have been formally diagnosed with the inattentive type of ADHD.  The youngest son is in elementary school, the oldest two in high school. Kayla's life is a progression of dirty laundry, lost homework, misunderstood Algebra, and a whole lot of love and fun. Thankfully, a supportive husband, a psychology degree and many years of working with all kinds of children have helped in discovering ways of maximizing the potential of the wonderful children that bless Kayla's life and home.
