A popular – and free – summer concert series is coming back to downtown Raleigh!

WRAL is proudly partnering with Downtown Raleigh Alliance for its "Live After 5" summer concert series. The best part is it's free to attend!

The event will celebrate women in music, featuring a mix of local female-led groups who will perform familiar music by Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Blondie, Dolly Parton and more.

The four-part summer music series will return to City Plaza on the last Wednesday of each month, from May through August.

The lineup will include the following artists:

  • May 29: Sunqueen Kelcey & The Solar Flares with 22 Strings Band
  • June 26: Elora Dash with Azul
  • July 31: Kate Rhudy with Blue Cactus
  • August 28: Sixpence None the Richer and Brooke Hatala

The event will have more than just music. You can shop local vendors, grab a bite to eat at the food trucks and sip n' stroll with a glass of wine.
