MOM TESTED IDEAS TO HELP YOUR ADHD INATTENTIVE CHILD

Staying focused, organized, confident and successful are our four biggest challenges. Our kids are different than the kids next door, and often the things recommended in the parents' magazines just don't work for our crew.  We've had to come up with unique approaches and solutions to problems.

"That Works for Me" is a collection of strategies and ideas tried by parents of children with Attention Deficit kids. These are things that have been tried by our family, friends or our readers. Some of the ideas work brilliantly, and some have worked for just a short time. But all of them have helped to keep our kids focused, organized, encouraged, and successful. We hope they'll help you as you help your kids learn to help themselves.

FOCUS! Teach your child to focus, stay on task, and pay attention better than ever.

ORGANIZE!
Schedules, appointments, homework, clothes, bills, stuff and time. Find ways to teach your kids to be organized.

ENCOURAGE!
Even though they're wonderful our children often end up feeling less than perfect because they march to a different drummer. Help your child to develop and maintain a positive self image.

SUCCEED!
There are just as many opportunities for success in school as there are failures. Help this cliché become a reality for your child.
